For this flooring project we helped a homeowner achieve the seamless look by matching hardwood floors. Recently, we had the pleasure of transforming a Portland-area home, replacing carpeted areas with Mirage's beautiful white oak hardwood and refinishing the existing hardwood to create a cohesive design.

To begin, our team removed the outdated carpet and prepped the subfloor for installation. Mirage's white oak hardwood was chosen for its consistent grain and tone, making it easier to create a truly cohesive, matching look with the existing floors.

In addition to the new installation, the client had previously installed hardwood floors that had been stained a dark shade. To ensure a perfect match with the new white oak, our team sanded the old floors to their natural state and applied a clear coat. This refinishing process brought out the warm, natural tones of the wood, blending the new and existing floors seamlessly.
