Levi took careful measurements, found solid hardwood that perfectly matched our existing Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring in other parts of the house, tested the new wood to ensure it had properly acclimated before installation, and kept in close contact before, during and after the actual installation work. Dan is a master craftsman who removed the old carpeting, removed a layer of particle board to prevent moisture-induced swelling in the future, installed a layer of plywood where it was needed, and painstakingly installed the new hardwood -- resulting in perfectly cut and trimmed flooring that appears flawless even on close inspection. What's more, Dan spread tarps on the existing hardwood floor to protect it from damage during the work process, and (unlike most contractors) carefully cleaned the entire work area when he was done.
